The 2023 Old Vine Rosé, a serious yet vibrant blend of Grenache and Cinsault, showcases its youthful energy and dynamic flavors. With a nose featuring honeydew melon, starfruit, sweet white peach and white flower, this wine celebrates the more engaging aspects of life. The palate echoes these bright flavors, accompanied by a subtle hint of oak and a lively acidity that persists through the finish. This sophisticated and complex rosé is ready for immediate enjoyment, while also holding the potential to age gracefully over the next 3-7 years. Whether savored today or cellared for future pleasure, this remarkable wine promises a captivating experience.
The palest, most nuanced of our rosés. This wine explores the serious side of rosé. Exceptional fruit from low yielding, 50 year-old vines handled with minimal intervention and treated much like we would a top-quality chardonnay with a little oak and malolactic. Treat this rosé as you would a high-end aromatic white with regard to food pairing and aging. Historically, this wine has been 100% Grenache. Because of extremely low yields, we decided to make a blend with the Cinsault block adjacent to the Grenache. The Cinsault shares the same vine age, soil and aspect as the Grenache and compliments the Grenache perfectly.
