It’s a relaxed and joyous time of year, making it an ideal time to cozy up with close friends, and a glass of Syrah. Our team is thrilled to share the 2018 Califa Syrah, 2019 Edna Valley Syrah and the 2019 Rita’s Crown with you this month. We hope that this lineup will make a great addition to your upcoming holiday festivities. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to host many of you at our first member’s only event weekend in September and look forward to celebrating more release events with you in the new year. A typical autumn day in SLO begins with foggy, crisp mornings that lead to sun-kissed afternoons. As the season progresses, daylight diminishes quickly and the brisk marine air flows steadily through the vines. The cooler temperatures trigger the transition of the vines into the beginning stages of dormancy. Leaves begin their descent to the soil below as we enter winter and our vines preserve most of their energy and focus for the next vintage.
With another harvest under their belts, our vineyard crew is excited to celebrate the fruits of their labor and reflect on the 2021 growing season and harvest. Like the vines, our team is ready to relax and enjoy some downtime. We are thankful for our team and all their hard work and dedication to their craft.
As we look back at 2021, we are reminded of how grateful we are to be open and how much we cherish the opportunities that we’ve had to connect with you this year. We are incredibly thankful for our members and look forward to what 2022 has in store for us.
