Vineyard Update
A typical autumn day in SLO begins with foggy, crisp mornings that lead to sun-kissed afternoons. As the season progresses, daylight diminishes quickly and the brisk marine air flows steadily through the vines. The cooler temperatures trigger the transition of the vines into the beginning stages of dormancy. Leaves begin their descent to the soil below as we enter winter and our vines preserve most of their energy and focus for the next vintage.
With another harvest under their belts, our vineyard crew is excited to celebrate the fruits of their labor and reflect on the 2021 growing season and harvest. Like the vines, our team is ready to relax and enjoy some downtime. We are thankful for our team and all their hard work and dedication to their craft.
As we look back at 2021, we are reminded of how grateful we are to be open and how much we cherish the opportunities that we’ve had to connect with you this year. We are incredibly thankful for our members and look forward to what 2022 has in store for us.
From our ‘Chamily’ to yours, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season filled with good food, great company, and fantastic wine. Cheers!
