Intensely concentrated with notes of lemon curd and citrus peel. Great minerality and length on the palate with excellent mid-palate gained from light lees stirring. Classic salinity shows through on the finish, true to its cool climate growing region and rocky site. Pair with Dungeness crab or lobster. Will also pair well with rich white fish such as halibut. Enjoy now through 2029.

The first vintage sourced from our prized Morrito Hill block. We grafted 1 acre of Chardonnay in 2019 and are thrilled with the quality of Chardonnay. Hailing from the best terroir on the property, this chardonnay shows brilliant freshness and liveliness with a great chalky texture and length. Barrel fermented and aged in 50% New French oak barrels that were carefully selected just for this site.
Gently whole cluster pressed using a champagne cycle, the juice was taken to barrel without settling or addition of sulfur dioxide. Fermentation was achieved in French oak barriques using native yeast (no adding of yeast) followed by native malolactic fermentation. For oak, we carefully select barrels from the Allier Forest of France with a tight grain and medium-long toast that provide an elegant structural lift and subtle aromatic impact. 50% new oak, the wine is aged in barrel for 12 months on the lees followed by 3 months in tank prior to bottling.
