Our Edna Valley Grenache shines with a beautiful ruby hue and coral rim. The wine opens with intense aromas of dark blueberry, black cherry, dried herbs and black pepper. On the mouth, ripe dark fruit dominates the palate with a lively orange rind finish.
Perfect wine for autumn roasted vegetables and herbed goat cheese.
The grapes for this delicious Grenache Noir come from two vineyards; our own Chamisal Estate and Morro View Vineyard. Morro View is less than a mile from our Estate and shares much of the characteristics of our soil and climate. With this Grenache we are striving for a delicious, red fruited expression of Grenache. Grenache can be very dark with black fruit and astringent tannin, but this Grenache embodies finesse.
