Ripe strawberry, hibiscus, and pomegranate rise from the glass with coastal brightness, accented by a gentle thread of warm spice and dried bay leaf. Oak is used with a light hand—just enough to frame the wine without obscuring its clarity. The tannins are soft, integrated, and effortlessly approachable, carrying the fruit with quiet elegance and ease.
Pair with grilled seafood, lightly sauced pasta and hors d’oeuvres.
Chamisal, the first vineyard planted in the region in 1973, now spans 80 acres across three distinct soil types, benefiting from the nearby Pacific Ocean’s cooling influence. The estate’s calcareous, clay-rich soils and long, temperate growing season create ideal conditions for producing intensely flavored, complex fruit.
