Intensely concentrated with notes of preserved Meyer lemon, white flower, fresh meringue, lemon oil and a hint of toasted hazelnut. Lovely mid palate weight, lots of flinty and crunchy minerality. Great volume and length on the finish. A serious and textural wine.
Pair with Dungeness crab or lobster. Will also pair well with rich white fish such as halibut.
Chamise is our flagship Chardonnay. We began making this wine in 2008 with a single barrel. It still remains a very small lot, typically from a single block in our Estate Vineyard. Over nearly 50 years of farming vines at Chamisal, we have developed an intimate knowledge of our site. Chamise represents the use of that knowledge to find the best combination of soil, microclimate, clonal material and winemaking to create a truly great Chardonnay.

An intensely concentrated chardonnay with notes of cane sugar and butterscotch completed by a pleasant floweriness: tea tree oil and hyacinth. High acid wine elevated by a low and precise alcohol content. Lemon curd and citrus on the palate offering a rich and dense mouthfeel.
